The best landscaping for your pool

If you’re looking to add a great landscape around your family swimming pool, you’re going to want to choose something that both accentuates your pool area as well as your tastes. Choosing the correct plant life and decorative stone and art will bring out the beauty of your personal space. Be sure to choose plants that will thrive in the area that you live in. If you’re thinking of adding small decorative trees to your landscape you want to make certain that the tree will either remain a dwarf tree with a smaller root system or place it far enough away from your pool area so the growing and spreading root system won’t damage your in ground pool. The last thing that you want happening is your tree’s roots destroying your swimming pool from underground!

Adding greenery that doesn’t shed a ton of leaves is an optimal choice around a pool. You don’t want plants that will shed massive amounts of petals or leaves because they will end up in your pool and there’s nothing worse than a clogged filter system! Likewise, you’re not going to want to spend days on end pulling up weeds around your plants. Be sure to use landscaping tarp or burlap under your soil and around your plants. This will keep most of the weeds from being able to gain a foothold. As long as your choices are safe for your pool’s structure and won’t cause problems to the upkeep of your in ground fiberglass pool, your imagination is the limit!
