Turn off the power at the main circuit breaker.
Disassemble The Old Electrical Outlet
- Disassemble the old socket by unscrewing it using the Phillips screwdriver
- Remove the plate
- Unscrew the mechanism
Prepare The Wires For The New Connection
- Take the mechanism out of the recessed box
- Disconnect the electrical wires; you will use them again to plug in the new electrical outlet
Connect The Wires From The New Electrical Outlet
Connect the 3 electrical wires to the mechanism of the news outlet, respecting the colors of the terminals and wires

- Insert electrical outlet
- Tighten the anchor screws
